Privacy Policy
Information we collect
When you request a free review or become a client, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, contact details, and information related to your credit report and dispute history. Rather than pulling your credit report ourselves, you enroll in a third-party credit monitoring service and share your login credentials with us so we can access your report and monitor changes on your behalf.
How we use your information
We use your information to perform the services you've requested — reviewing your credit report, preparing and filing disputes, and communicating updates to you. We do not sell your personal information.
How we share your information
We share information with credit bureaus and furnishers only as necessary to file disputes on your behalf. We also use a customer relationship management (CRM) platform to manage client records and an e-signature platform to collect signed agreements — both act on our behalf and are only given the information needed to perform those functions.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as you remain a client, and for 6 months after your service with us ends, after which it is securely deleted or disposed of — except where we're required to keep records longer to comply with the law (for example, New York General Business Law § 458-c requires that we keep your signed information statement acknowledgment on file for two years).
Your choices
- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- You can request that we delete your information, subject to any records we're legally required to retain.
To make any of these requests, email privacy@solveracredit.com.
